Móvil offers over 9,000 books in Spanish and
English, story hours, arts and crafts projects,
information forums and more for the residents of San Juan
del Sur and surrounding communities. The mobile library
program takes books directly to readers, making deliveries
to local community centers, schools and other locations,
and offering residents of neighboring communities the
opportunity to check out books and experience the world of
reading.

Fundación A. Jean Brugger
The mission of Fundación A. Jean Brugger is to provide
critical educational opportunities and vocational training
for the young people of San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua and
surrounding communities. The Fundación’s core
activities include a school uniform program, educational
scholarships and hands-on job training. These programs
provide necessary tuition, school supplies and clothing,
practical skills training and part-time jobs to ensure the
ongoing secondary- and university-education of several
