About our Chef

Chef Lynette "LBee" Bushey specializes in Italian cuisine, seafood specialties and signature sauces, and has brought tremendous international flair to Restaurant La Cascada. Ms. Bushey trained under Chef Roger Thomas (who himself cooked for James Beard in decades past) in Akron, OH at the esteemed Piatto Italian restaurant, and worked side by side with a master chef who cooked for kings and queens of Italy during the early 1900s. LBee's diverse experience also includes the Naked Moose restaurant in Colorado, and the venerable Carlyle restaurant in Portland, Oregon, where she worked with Kajsa Dilger, a veteran of Zuni in San Francisco and southern California's Border Grill.
